Stumbled on these really small and quaint cabins while snowshoeing, nestled under a thick blanket of snow. I love the colours of quality wood against a pure-white landscape. It almost blends perfectly into the trees; An element I really admire.

Driving through some of the most beautiful botanical gardens I’ve ever seen thanks to @avis! Seeing Hawaii by car (with the top down 😉) is a must if you happen to make it over here.

Discover Havasupai Falls, Arizona, USA with @kevinboutwell.
Havasupai Falls in Arizona is a major destination for hikers who want to visit this blue green waterfall oasis. Getting to the falls is no cake walk, though. Hidden in the Grand Canyon, the hike to the falls is about 8 miles long - each way - and it is quite difficult to get reservations for, as it is a protected natural reserve. #thediscoverer

It is by far the grandest of all the special temples of Nature I was ever permitted to enter. John Muir describing Yosemite in 1868
Familiar places. Gaining new perspectives. Big East River was remnants of the proglacial Lake Algonquin formed during the last ice age. To explore this place in the Winter, you really do get a sense of time and wonder. It’s so easy to overlook the small intricacies of what you’re photographing. Taking a step back and immersing yourself into your surroundings can be more rewarding than taking the photo itself.
