**LAS VEGAS BUNNIES NEED HELP- FOSTERS IN AND OUTSIDE OF NEVADA NEEDED** The state has falsely determined the abandoned domestic bunny population in Las Vegas to be a health hazard (they have no evidence of these particular bunnies spreading diseases) and ordered for those who live at the mental health facility near the College of Southern Nevada’s West Charleston campus to be killed; many have been already but some can still be rescued. Groups @bunnies_matter@vegasbunnyrescue@allcreaturessanctuarylv are actively rescuing, and they plus @forgetmenotaslv are trying to place them in fosters & permanent homes in and outside Vegas. They are looking for fosters, trappers and donations as the number of lives that need to be saved was higher than expected. **Especially if you have a large social media following, please share this. These animals, no animal, deserves to die, they don’t want to die, and certainly not like this** #animalcruelty#bunny#bunnies#bunniesofinstagram#rabbit#rabbitsofinstagram#rescueanimals#animalrescue#animalsanctuary#adopt#adoptdontshop#govegan#vegan#lasvegas#vegas#whathappensinvegas 👇👇👇👇 Repost @bunnies_matter ・・・
5 of the 58 bunnies Team Bunnies Matter and All Creatures Sanctuary captured together. Stacey and I went out for to rescue one bunny this afternoon and we started seeing one dead bunny after another. Dr. Smee of All Creatures Sanctuary didn’t hesitate, she said go grab them and we did. Amazing groups of people came out to help. Any donations to help are always appreciated. We weren’t prepared obviously to house and care for 58 new bunnies.
Hello Everyone! LEX FUNDRAISER ‼️ We posted the other day about Lex’s story and in need of donations to help cover the cost of his surgeries. We are still $7,800 away from being able to pay for his bills. 🙏🏻
We are in need of monetary donations to help pay for Lex’s Medical Bills at Cornell Vet. 🙏🏻 As some of you may have kept up with his posts and story, Lex, came to us from Senegal where a cruel person chopped off his back legs. We were contacted from across the world with a plea to save Lex. His story broke our hearts and we immediately agreed to give him sanctuary at Willow’s Wings.
How this poor soul survived what he went through is a testament to strength, perseverance and love. Lex loves to give love to all he comes in contact with, he is a true miracle.
Please consider donating through www.WillowsWings.org/Donate and click on the PayPal link. In the notes, please write “For Lex.” Link is also in Bio. Any denomination is truly appreciated to help cover the costs of his upcoming $8,000 Cornell medical bill.

We just took in this sweet senior boy, and he makes our hearts hurt. He is Blind and deaf with a fractured pelvis and hip. He is missing one eye and has a ear infection. This poor little senior is extremely thin with skin issues.
How does this happen? 😔😢
All he wants to do is snuggle in your arms and rest his broken body. So sad, an animal should ever be suffering like this. We will be helping this senior boy live a better life with us at Willow’s Wings and get him the medical care he deserves. If you would like to donate to help with his medical bills, please donate to the link in our bio- www. WillowsWings.Org/Donate and click on the PayPal link.
Thank you 🙏🏻❤️ •

Regrann from @benjamin_trewlove - My caretaker's hand is delicious! 🤣🐄💁 We are so pleased with Ben's recovery. He will be 5 weeks old tomorrow! 💕💞🐄
Spring is just around the corner and these ladies (and gentleman) need some plants in their pen. They have a peach tree and fig tree (bush?) but we need to plant things for shade this summer. Time to do some research to see what they can be around and what may be toxic. Banana trees would be great for shade! We'll definitely look that one up. Any suggestions?

Yesterday Pina received an email from the second vet who saw Fluffy. Below is what she wrote.
“I had the other doctors here at the clinic take a look at the x-rays and they agree we are likely dealing with a collapsed lung with pneumothorax (free air in the chest cavity). We could attempt to remove the free air from the thorax with a needle and syringe and see if that helps with his breathing. The procedure is not without risk, however. We would need to lightly sedate him to do it. Let me know if you want to try it. I could do it today or tomorrow.” So, after considering all of the information and risks, Pina took Fluffy to the vet today. They performed the procedure to remove air from his lungs. They were able to remove 67 ml cc from his chest cavity. They weren’t able to remove all of the air. He goes back to the vet next week to see if the lung has inflated itself again. For now, he’s back at home and Pina will continue with oxygen therapy if he’s struggling. At present they don’t know the cause of the collapsed lung. It could be a tumor, trauma, he may still have a hole. So, next week it’s more x-rays and we’ll go from there 💜
Attached is the latest vet bill for Fluffy and there will be another next week. Please consider joining our Patreon family to help us pay for his ongoing care. The link is in our bio.
When even just one life can be saved, it is always a victory. This sweet dumpsite baby bunny was rescued yesterday by the @forgetmenotaslv team. Please see info below and also @vegasbunnyrescue and @bunnies_matter on how you can help the domestic bunny situation here in Vegas- trappers, transporters, fosters, adopters and of course donations are needed!
From the last two days of trying to catch bunnies, I’ll say that this save was incredible on behalf of FMNASLV.

Last night our team spent a few hours at a local dumpsite and attempted to rescue some little buns from potentially fatal situations. While we don’t have a ton of space until we get foster care homes vetted we knew we couldn’t leave without helping at least one. We were able to rescue one little baby... and it’s a damn cutie. Unsure of the gender, we got this baby home as fast as we could for a towel bath and setup this cozy little home, gave it a little love and just let the poor thing relax. We’re still working on the most perfect name but welcome this little one to the @forgetmenotaslv family! The biggest thank you ever to @j0eld0tc0m for helping with this rescue ❤️ We would not be able to save the lives of the animals that need us without the help of others that care. You can safely make tax deductible donation on our website - forgetmenotaslv.org, via PayPal with our email - [email protected]
Benny & Rosebud’s Frostbitten Feet
One cold winter day in January 2018, three domestic Muscovy ducks were discovered abandoned and left for dead, outside of a vacant residential property in Albion, Michigan. The humans whom they depended on for food, water and shelter had moved away and left the ducks behind. The ducks waited for them to return---not knowing of anywhere else to go. It wasn’t until three months after the family moved away that the neighbors realized the ducks had been left behind. They were spotted trying to collect the remains of fallen bird seeds underneath their bird feeder. It was clear that all three ducks were starving. The neighbors called All Species Kinship (A.S.K) and told them about the ducks, and who immediately came to rescue them.
Once rescued, A.S.K made an appointment for the ducks to see their avian veterinarian. Each duck received an overall health check, which included assessing their body condition, taking their weight, a physical exam and running a Complete Blood Count (CBC). All three ducks were underweight and dehydrated.
Two of the ducks---Benny and Rosebud, had already developed frostbite on both of their feet. Albion, the third duck, seemed to be okay. Although the presentation was very different between the two ducks, with Benny’s more severe…
