Christmas is often wonderful, but for many people, this time of year can also be emotionally difficult. The extra expense and a packed schedule can cause stress, while the nostalgic nature of the festivities brings up old feelings or lead us to reflect on the year gone by. When things become a little stressful or sad, meditation keeps us on an even keel, and helps us enjoy the lovely things about Christmas.

Flower power series:
I was inspired by one of my best friends tonight and all he did to inspire me was be there. See, growing up I was babied so hard by my friends. Don't get Me wrong, I am blessed and grateful to have had such close and amazing friends growing up because they taught me what true friendships are and what it means to have someone's back. I know alot of people don't get so lucky but in college I made a friend who was different. He was rough and callous with me a lot. I was so used to falling apart and having people meticulously work to put me together whereas he'd look at me and say..."so what? What do you want from Me? Cuz I can't fix this shit for You. " and each time I'd think what a heartless ass he is. Here I was so used to having someone always holding my hand through everything with a friend that wouldn't even bother with that. I thought I was gonna loose myslelf...I was wrong. I actually found my strength with him. He taught me the gratifying feeling of being my own hero and he made me realize I really was strong. I used to hate him but now he's one of my best friends because he saw the strength I had in me and trusted me enough to use that strength to be able to help save myself. He had faith in me and thanks to him I don't doubt myself like I used to and I have made so much progress with my depression and anxiety. He saw in me what I can now see in myself and what I see in all of you. I hope you all see it too. See you don't need a million friends or people to help you up. What you need is just one person to believe you and if that one person is you, that's all you need. I know you all got this and I know you have the strength to get through whatever you are experiencing and feeling. I believe you will all see the strength within yourself to get through it so don't give up. I believe you. You need to believe in yourself. Love you guys ❤
