FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!
Do you live in Loudoun County Virginia? Do you have room in your heart and home to foster a dog for Save the Tails, Inc?
We are a non-profit dog rescue that pulls dogs from overcrowded, rural high kill shelters and find them forever homes. Since we have no kennels, we rely on foster families to house our dogs until a permanent home can be found, usually within 1-8 weeks. Fostering is FREE! We pay for the dog's food and medical, we even loan you a crate!
If you can foster—even one dog one time—know that you will be making a world of difference for that dog. You WILL save a life!
Let's get those sweet dogs out of kill shelters.
Email [email protected] to foster or with any questions about fostering. You may also phone: 1 (888) 379-5558 x 1. #fostersneeded#dogrescue#loudouncountyva#fosteradog#savealife#saveshelterdogs#dogvideo#beahero#makeadifference#dogs#puppies#fosteringisfree#fostersneeded

Where are the ear tips? These kitties aren't fixed and if you don't know why shelters euthanize so many cats and kittens, here's a bit of a wake-up.
We count 9 total kitties, if just 2 are female, in about 6 months they'll have 8-12 kittens. If only 6 kittens survive, you'll jump from 9 to 15 kitties. If just 2 of kittens are female, in about 6 months they'll each have a litter of 8-12 kittens, PLUS those 2 mother cats will pump out another litter each, meaning in 12 months it's likely this crew of 9 cats will balloon to 30 + homeless cats.
Let's say it costs $450 ($50 per cat) to humanely trap and fix these 9 kitties, OR ignore the breeding and spend $2,400 ($100 per kitten) to rescue 24 kittens.
Does it make sense to focus rescue efforts on fixing cats, or ignore the real problem and focus only on adoption?
We love cats and kittens, AND pups, and simply can't understand why there isn't a greater rescue effort directed to bringing something as simple as spay/neuter to every animal that needs to be fixed. Saving lives and saving major 💰, which could be used to support shelters so they have the ability to operate as a safety net, not disposal facilities should be the goal.
If you live in the Los Angeles neighborhood's of Los Feliz/Silver Lake/Echo Park and you see homeless cats that aren't ear tipped, don't wait until you have kittens, 📧 [email protected] and our volunteers will help #savekittens by making sure the cats are fixed.
