#LightTheWorld Day 9: Today I lightened the world by translating Family Search instruction from English to Chinese, and also did some zoning as a family search volunteer. I am so grateful for a job that can strengthen my language skills and also help other people!!!! I am so happy I can use my language to help those who otherwise don't understand how to fully utilise the wonderful FamilySearch. So blessed. 🌹 #mytinyldstemple

I finished this wood burned order last night and will be posted to France today! In our church, when we are married, it is 'for time and all eternity' (here in this life and the next). We also get married in what we call a Temple. There are hundreds of LDS temples all over the world. This temple I wood burned on this wood round is the Bern Switzerland Temple, which is where the couple were married in our church. My husband and I were married (after our civil ceremony in our chapel, you have to get married civily first in the UK, it's the law, so the Queen can attend if she so pleased hahaha) in the London England Temple. They are beautiful sacred buildings and I love going there with my family. We will be staying there for a few days next week, my daughter Hannah loves spending time there and seeing the beautiful grounds and the statue of Christ in the visitors centre. It's a special place to our family 💜
Amen."
Presidente Thomas S. Monson
"Each one stands as a beacon to the world, an expression of our testimony that God, our Eternal Father, lives, that He desires to bless us and, indeed, to bless His sons and daughters of all generations. Each of our temples is an expression of our testimony that life beyond the grave is as real and as certain as is our life here on earth. I so testify.
My beloved brothers and sisters, may we make whatever sacrifices are necessary to attend the temple and to have the spirit of the temple in our hearts and in our homes. May we follow in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who made the ultimate sacrifice for us, that we might have eternal life and exaltation in our Heavenly Father’s kingdom. This is my sincere prayer, and I offer it in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord, amen."
President Thomas S. Monson

This week has been filled with many adventures. However, the ones that will stick with me the longest-- performing ordinances in the Bern temple and attending sacrament meeting today in Paris. This gospel is international and my testimony of that was strengthened as I was able to interact with members here. Language is not a barrier for the spirit, we are ALL His children, and we are all working toward the same goals. ❤️ #bernswitzerlandtemple#Hisday
