Our inspiration for the day. Spirit Cabinets were "spiritual storage batteries" used by mediums from the mid 1800's to 1900's. This photo shows a spirit materializing outside of a spirit cabinet at Camp Chesterfield, Indiana. ⠀
Our new forthcoming perfume collection, Tools and Talismans, includes Spirit Cabinet ✨🔮✨ a hauntingly delicious perfume with essential oils of cedarwood and vanilla, for a sweet and smoky scent to help you connect to another plane. This set will be released tomorrow!
Here's my Opuntia lindheimeri (I think, or bentonii, aureispina? Whatever.) The easiest to propagate, no other care is necessary. Anyway, I planted a single pad just a year ago, and now look, it produced 8 more pads! No fertilizer and just sparse watering! And to scale its dimension, it's almost half my size (root system included). So proud of this guy!
The winner of my commission giveaway is Jennifer Berg, who shared the story of her little neice, Eliza — “Eliza was born with Down syndrome almost 2 years ago this November. Along with being born with Down syndrome she had a million complications — Ranging from a heart defect, where her heart was completely removed from her fragile premature body, rebuilt and fixed, to a trachea (breathing tube) that would collapse whenever it wanted and left her with a scar from her throat to her belly button. She lived her first full year in the hospital and has been home for 10 months now. We call her Eliza the brave because of how much of a fighter she has been. There were moments during her first year where we were praying that if it was God's will to take our precious miracle, that it was for the best. But GOD blessed us to have more years with our beautiful wildflower. A quote sits above her crib at home saying "In a field of roses you are a Wildflower." Which is what she is. She is our miracle baby who constantly keeps my family growing and learning that people and family are the most important. No matter who you are — You are special. It brings tears to my eyes whenever I think of what she went through. My love for this little beautiful human grows everyday. Wildflowers are who she is — Unique and majestic. So ridiculously proud to have her in my family.”
I’m so excited to share Eliza’s story, photos & her wildflower painting! I was so moved by her beautiful story and adorable little face, and I really wanted my followers to get to read her story too. SO much love for little Eliza! 💕💕 (Thanks for letting me share her story @jennifer.k.berg!)
