Queen of the peekaboo just reminding you how good her thrift game is. Can you believe @duchessliquidation throated her dress and found her #vintagesuitcase? 😍 I’m going shopping with her from now on!

There are some seriously strong memories associated with food. Nostalgia. Sure, some people simply eat to refuel, but most people have strong associations with dishes from childhood, first dates, hometowns, family dinners, camping, school lunches, college struggle.... The list goes on and on. Eliciting those memories, listening to those stories... That’s my favorite part of my job. Over the fall, I was hired to do a 1950’s cocktail party. At first google search, I was appalled. Spaghetti in gelatin, fish in gelatin... Everything in gelatin. Canned meats, frozen veggie’s. The war was over and the preservation techniques that fed the troops made it’s way into homes. Google it. I dare you. After several fish-mold-induced panic attacks, we compromised that we’d elevate the cuisine while maintaining the integrity of those memories, created in the kitchen, watching mom chain smoke cigarettes, sipping on a Harvey Wallbanger and assembling liverwurst on rye crisps. We sat around sharing our food memories, sipping on manhattans... It was, hands down, the best party I’ve ever been to and I can’t wait to talk someone into doing another one.
Beef Wellington Handpies. Shrimp Toast. 5 Charred “French” Onion Dip. Crab Rangoon Deviled Eggs. Blue Cheese Stuffed, Bacon Wrapped Dates w Rumaki. Obligatory Cheese Ball in Fines Herbes.

Rule 1 of Cryo... there is no Cryo.
Just kidding 😂
But we always tell our Cryo users to breathe deep controlled breaths and focus anything but the cold ☃️
Come on in and we'll prove it 😄
I started mentioning the other day about my love for snow, but this snow was more exciting that most. Here in Chicago we have been experiencing drastic changes in temperature ranging from mid 50 F (which melted all of our previous snow) to close to 0F or below. We were starting to get cabin fever trying to avoid the super cold and dark days. Then it snowed and left behind several inches, giving me the perfect excuse to drag Nate out in the snow to play around. Swipe to see his reaction to me making him come outside to play and take pictures 🙈
Who else loves playing in the snow?!
Finally there’s a place for vegans and meat eaters to agree on a Chicago restaurant. Here’s what’s in this loaded vegan burger from @originalkumascorner: 6oz Impossible Burger, Pretzel Bun (v), Cherry Tomato Jam, Avocado Mash, Cheddar (v), Roasted Garlic Mayo (v), Baby Arugula, and Red Onion.
