A change of plans on Sunday led me to having one of the most magical solo adventures I have ever experienced. The night before, I asked for guidance in my meditation about how to spend my day. The message to go to Deep Cove in North Vancouver kept coming up, but I resisted. I had been there before and while it was indeed beautiful, I had no intentions of returning anytime soon. Nevertheless, the message was clear, and more specifically to do the two hour hike up to Quarry Rock. Before I went to bed, a raging snowstorm had just begun. I again challenged the idea, but when I awoke in the morning the sky was bright blue and the sun was shining. So off I went and ultimately found myself in the most incredible displays of snowy magical goodness. The sunlight filtered through the forest trees as the breeze gently swept the freshly fallen snow down like sparkly stardust. It was surreal and more beautiful than I could have imagined. I came out of the hike with a stronger sense of how important it is to trust yourself and listen to your intuition, even when the promptings seem impractical!
Here’s me being the king of the Cove forest!
@briogram asked me to share all my nicknames so here they are! Shteve, Wiggly, Dood, Baby Dog, Dummy, and the occasional ‘Trash Panda’ which I am not stoked about. But I can’t help it! Sometimes the recycle box has something cool in it. 🤫
Hey @finnegantheducktoller share your nicknames too! 🐕
