Unlike Pendleton, Colorado Springs has an infinite amount of cute coffee shops that serve to die for coffee. I was very fortunate to have two coffee snobs (mostly @mitchell_galloway, kinda @mapswait_ ❤️) take me to a few during my visit.
Clearly preparing to dive into Bow Lake, cuz who wouldn’t wanna plunge into that gorgeousness. There might have been a few years of competitive springboard diving in my past....obviously haven’t gotten it out of my system #isitsummeryet#bowlake 📷@lucas_really
ENGLISH: "Vertigo" Some days, the strong winds of the Drake Passage turned the deck into a place only suitable for brave people... When the sea was really moving, we had to wear safety harnesses and be really careful while moving on deck.

A forest that whispers to me
I am here, find your solace within me
In this divinity,
there's nothing you can hide from me
Let the soil caress your toes, and let my branches brush your finger tips.
Let my fire burn
Rage in your heart
Find your lineage in the symmetry of my core
Allow my river to carve your soul,
As my river has painted the valley
You call home
Lay in the bed of my ferns
They are here to embrace you
As your mother held you
The moment you were born
Find your solace within me
In this divinity, there is nothing
You can hide from me
Had a fantastic weekend with @charliezhuang and @tatyanatashlay .. we literally got a taste of everything. Deserts, mountains, waterfalls, snow, zebra cakes, anxiety attacks, and inappropriate comments. Wouldn’t have traded it for anything! Where’s the next trip to?
We were going to explore somewhere new at Golden Ears yesterday, but the park gates were closed so we ended up hiking back to the spot where we got engaged a month and a half ago! Much sunnier and snowier there this time!

Obviously not my best photo, but it carries the heaviest meaning yet. 5 words that changed my life forever “My brother died last night.” That was all I could bring myself to write that day. If you read on, the following weeks were filled with anger, questions and no answers. But somewhere within the 2 weeks the tone changes from anger and despair to HOPE. Now a month 1/2 later I still go through the waves, still get sad but I have PEACE... My brothers death has opened my eyes to the brutal truth that I live every day on borrowed time. I sometimes resent that realization because it’s intimidating.. Like how do you do that? How do you live everyday as your last!?! Being real, I laid around all day doing squat & I’m regretting it BUT that’s not even close to the bigger picture! God has one simple command, pick up your cross and follow him daily! DAILY=there’s your key to living every DAY as your last. I can pity myself (which I’m guilty of) or take that next step of faith and follow Him daily!! That is my challenge for You & myself..! MUCH LOVE♥️ -thanks for reading my novel haha ;)
We had an interesting day in Granary Canyon, so I was relieved when we reached this last 200 foot rappel with just enough daylight left. Watching our fearless leader make his way down the red rock with the green Colorado River as a backdrop was something else. Can you spot the appropriately named Jug Handle Arch?
A Scottish sunrise over The Storr. We walked up to the viewpoint in the dark with very little expectations due to the cloudy weather. After a short wait the sun broke its way through and lit up this iconic place. Oh Scotland I do love you 🏴
