Already missing our quaint backcountry cabin. 🏔
It’s amazing to see how little you really need to survive. It puts life and materialistic items into perspective.
It makes you appreciate your warm home because your the one who is keeping it warm.
It makes you connect with the people and things that matter most.
In this setting, our everyday ‘problems’ seem to melt away while seeming pretty silly and minuscule. You gain greater perspective on what life is really about and who you are.💗💗💗
Would you travel 23km into the backcountry to stay at a cabin like this?

I remember this day from last winter just as if it were last week. Temperatures dropped into the negative 30s overnight as we slept in the car protected from the even colder wind chill outside. We woke up in the morning and the strong winds were brining the Arctic air in from the North, instantly freezing the spray from the lake covering everything it touched in ice.
After the snow all melts (which will hopefully be very soon) the forest floor will once again be covered in white. Walking through the woods makes you feel like a Disney Princess. Ontario couldn’t have chosen a better emblem #mycanadianphotos
