I used to try so hard, and study, and plan to avoid failure in relationships, business, and any other skill I want to learn about before I'd even start it.
It's so deflating to our self confidence and ego when something you want really badly doesn't turn out the way you thought it would, but if we get stuck trying to do everything perfectly or we avoid putting ourselves out there for fear of rejection or failure, then we miss out on the best life has to offer, heartache and disappointment notwithstanding.
I've come to realize that failure is a gift. If you succeed on your first try you don't always know why you succeeded but when you fail you learn what doesn't work and what does so that you can adjust, stop, or repeat the necessary actions involved.

Sitting at the airport with only 45 minutes until we board & I thought I would do my final post. Today we did a lot more walking, it seems like you come across something majestic around every corner. Rome has been just incredible - I have loved seeing the ancient buildings, walking along the uneven cobblestone streets & indulging in their traditional food. I also wanted to thank my husband for accompanying me on this trip. We have had so much fun exploring & experiencing new places together & without him by my side I know I wouldn’t have enjoyed it nearly as much. I’m sad that our holiday is coming to an end but I’m excited to be coming home to our kids & puppy dog. And I can’t wait to see what all my amazing clients have achieved in my absence! Don’t forget that for the person who has lost the most weight in the 3 weeks since I’ve seen you will receive $50 of their next order! See you all soon 😘😍

On episode 6 of the #SideBusinessNetwork TV show, I interview Godwin Benson (@busybenson), Co-founder and CEO of @tuteriacorp talking about how he took his education platform from idea to internationally acclaimed status. We talk extensively about: - How he came up with the idea for Tuteria. Entreprneurs build businesses to solve problems; how he identified a huge gap in tutoring and set out to fill it. - How he left his a good paying job at Deloitte and embraced the uncertainty of entrepreneurship and what led up to that decision. - How he started the company in his living room with his partner, and scaled the company up to 23 employees. - A huge setback they faced some days to Tuteria's official launch and how they overcame it. - The dynamics of running a start up as a single man VS married man, and how your partner can make your life easier. - He closed out the interview with a solid advice to aspiring entrepreneurs not to neglect their employees and service providers while trying to delight customers.
While it is customers that buy your products and services, your employees and/or service providers (in Tuteria's case, the tutors) can either build up or destroy the platform if you don't show they you care about them. Lots of value bombs in this interview. Dig in and watch! [LINK IN BIO]

Motivation fundamentally comes from gratitude!
If you're grateful for the privilege of being right where you are and having the opportunities you do have, that's enough reason to be jacked up!
You've got to be motivated.
Brian Tracy said, motivation is like bathing and that's why it's recommended daily.
You can't afford not to be enthusiastic about what you're doing.
My motivation is at an all time high. It's like I generate excess motivation every morning.
Wish I could sell some, convert to electricity and sell to the national grid, or sth.
I can't fathom how some people are not motivated.
This doesn't mean you won't get discouraged or set back. But you've got to have enough motivation to get back up, cover lost grounds and still aim for your target.
Make sure you surround yourself with people, books, audios, and ensure you're always in a positive environment.
The biggest problem with most people is that they're in a negative environment that doesn't even give them a chance of dreaming anything good will happen.
That's a very bad place to be.
Yay or nay?
Yeah, my intuition is telling me there'll be better days
I stay in silence and find whenever I meditate
My fears alleviate, my tears evaporate
My faith don't deviate, ideas don't have a date
But see I'm growing and getting stronger with every breath
Bringing me closer to Heaven's doors with every step
As we speak I'm at peace, no longer scared

I admit it feels awkward, but I’m STILL going to introduce myself anyway because I have had quite a few new followers recently! It’s my way to connect with new friends and give me an excuse to chat with old ones. I’m Kristen, and I am a wedding photography business coach. I started my wedding photography business because I loved photography. Then, I started my coaching business because I love teaching and helping others, but I also spend a lot of time at home playing with our 5 year old son. Whether I’m working or relaxing with my husband and son, I’m the happiest in that moment...how about you? Let me know who you are in the comments below because I’d love to say hello!
Just in case you feeling bad, a little reminder for all of you ☺

BE GRATEFUL EVERYDAY!!! 💙 Thankful for being ALIVE, for being able to LIVE my life to the fullest, and to share it with people I love.
