Fog coming off the river, the trees covered with a light layer of frost, the snow capped mountain in the background. Cold morning, winter vibes. #myjasper

Lately I’ve been scouring the mall trying to find more zen places to take my breaks (sometimes working in customer service means needing to hide from people to stay sane). Turns out the parking lot roof might be one of my faves! ☁️

Funny story, I dropped into Banff after skiing to buy some stuff from @monodsports (great local store, you should probably check them out) but forgot my wallet... so I wandered around and took some photos instead. Here's a different angle of the classic Cascade Mountain shot, with a sillouette selfie.
An iconic view in the Canadian Rockies, Castle Mountain never fails to disappoint! I’m excited to get back here in a few weeks!

We woke up at 4:30am on this day, determined to see the methane bubbles at Abraham Lake before our afternoon flights. It was -20 degrees outside, and it had snowed all night long. Our little caravan moved slowly in the dark, following a lone set of tracks along an unplowed road. After 2 hours of slow moving, we didn’t think we would make it. We’d tried unsuccessfully to drive up a gradual incline in the road, and every time we slowed to a crawl before rolling back down the hill. Time was running out. Finally, everyone piled out of the car and on the third attempt, both cars made it. One hour later, we finally reached the lake, and this amazing view. Even though we didn’t see any bubbles this day, the journey itself was a memorable adventure. Good vibes, beautiful views and a solid crew. And besides, it’s just another reason to go back next year 😉🇨🇦

Walking on a frozen river surrounded by towering canyon walls ❄️✨ It was such a treat to explore the ice formations, frozen waterfalls and ice caves of beautiful Maligne Canyon in Jasper National Park. Winter in the Canadian Rockies is pure magic 💫@travelalberta#explorealberta#myjasper
