📷: @ellestorset 5 STEPS TO OVERCOME INSECURITY
Part 1 of 5
1.BE HONEST BRO If you haven’t done this yet, then you should; Quit beating around the bush, hiding behind your masks and just be real honest with yourself right now. The reasons you act the way you do, most likely, is due to your attempt at compensating for some sort of unconscious lack you feel about yourself. I know so many people, who’s lives revolve around this gaping hole inside their heart and because they won’t admit it, by coming to terms with themselves, they run. They run as fast as they can!
I get it though, they’re running because they believe, if they were to admit that they were insecure, the facade they’ve taken so long to build will come crashing down, never to be restored, and the dark pit of insecurity, worthlessness, and fear is provoked into an eternal reality, where they imagine themselves staying powerless for the rest of their lives. After all, when you run, atleast you have some semblance of power. But, thats obviously a lie; freedom is just on the other side.
P.S. I’m sorry guys, but some of you are self-identified introverts, so you don’t have to deal with the pain of being yourself and then getting rejected. Your’e self-preserving, shutting yourself up, before someone can shut yourself down. Please, do us both a favor and decide today, maybe you’re not, naturally an introvert. Maybe you’ve just hid behind that label, so you never had to confront the fact, that you’re socially scared. You know you’re probably living a double life, when you’re with your friends and you’re extroverted to the max, but when you’re with people that intimidate you, you’re suddenly a different human being. Also, this was a huge P.S., but it was much needed :)
👫have you been to cypress tree tunnel? It’s one of those places that you constantly see on Instagram and when you I got to place I immediately started snapping away. Then after a few moments I started thinking about all the artist who have been prior doing the same thing, creating art. It’s amazing to see all the other images from this spot knowing that not one is identical to the other.
