The Wall of Honor lines the walkway leading to the museum. This special memorial lists the names of those who contributed to our nation's aviation and space exploration heritage.

This #WanderlustWednesday I am grateful for all the moments that have taken my breath away. 🙏 This video is one of those moments in Paris… We took the Metro to the Charles de Gaulle Étoile stop, and riding the escalator out of the underground station we surfaced on the Champs-Élysées with a magnificent view of the Arc de Triomphe! ✨ I had seen the Arc de Triomphe before but not from this angle and with the sun setting in the background. The magic and beauty of Paris hit me hard in that moment! ❤️ Yes, Paris can bring me to tears but they are always happy tears! 😝
What are you grateful for this week?

This huge building is filled with aviation of every kind from the early 1900s to present time.
This Airstream was converted as a mobile quarantine facility specifically used by the Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and Michael Collins immediately after their return from the moon.

I love everything about space so seeing the Discovery in person was quite amazing! Discovery is longest-serving and most accomplished Space Shuttle orbiter from 1984-2011.

Today we checked out one of the most impressive museums I've ever experienced. There are 2 locations of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, one in Washington DC and one in Chantilly VA. More pics to come!!
We just can’t get over the fact that we’re living on this beautiful island 🌴 in Ireland 🇮🇪 We feel so fortunate to have been chosen to visit this special place and are looking forward to sharing more with everyone soon 😘
WEDNESDAY QUESTION: Do you have an adventure partner? Tag them here if so, and I’ll check out their photos! If you prefer solo travel, what accounts or brands here on Instagram inspire you the most?
As most of you know, my wife @carrieoutdoors is my travel companion; from our honeymoon in Norway to our recent vanlife roadtrip across the USA, we’ve been through a lot! Check out her blog (link in our profiles) for advice on either of those topics!

This is Teakettle junction. It is an intersection at the 21st mile of the Racetrack Valley road in Death Valley. It marks the junction of the Racetrack road and the road to Hunter Mountain.
The tradition is that travelers leave a tea kettle with a note or inscription as they pass by. We saw kettles from as far away as India, the Philippines, Hungary, and Columbia. There were Kettles with quotes, greetings, poems, and more.
We've heard that the junction marks the hottest point in the entire park, hence the name. 🔥🔥🔥 But the story goes different ways, haha... ~Brendan
