Have the courage to grow...mentally and physically. Be patient with your journey always.
Ive been itching to get under the bar again so today I finally did... On the left 2 months after my surgery I went back to Crossfit and worked on overhead squats at 22.5kg. I was still mentally challenged and no desire to snatch in the slightest. On the right now 18 months later... I still have zero desire to snatch, but still a desire to challenge myself and worked up to 2 sets of 40kg x5. And no lifters either, which is a first for me!
Try things that scare the shit out of you, because sometimes the things that scare us most can help you realise just how strong you really are... and help you realise just how far you've come.

What's your mantra? 💁🏼♀️
In the mornings I like to wake up with a mantra and I think it's a good idea for us all to be following a mantra everyday.
A mantra is a word or sentence said repeatedly to concentrate on self love and self awareness.
Your mantra should give you some clarity, almost like a sigh of relief or a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
I find it works for me 👌🏼
My mantra is usually something along the lines like this:
I am on right path to success.
Focus on what matters.
Today is my day.
I am comfortable in my skin.
I am beautiful.
And I go anywhere from repeating it 5-10 times before I get out of bed.
Use words where you feel you need guidance in life. Whether it's with self love, confidence, success, anxiety etc.
Your first priority of the day should be to love and accept yourself, before anything else ✨🙏🏼
0 years in, 1 year in, 4 years in.
Does it take time? Yes.
Does it take certain sacrifices? Yes.
Do I love it? Yes.
Am I always motivated? No.
Motivation is temporary!!!!! It doesn’t last! You won’t always feel motivated. Be disciplined. You have to want it! You have to put in the work! Earn it.
Ps. I am not asking you where you think I look better 😬

This is how you know someone is a lifter before anything else. When the first thing you notice is the plate loading.
