Okay so we've been watching a lot of #goodeats lately, it's no secret ella likes to cook with me and we love watching cooking shows together. Matt just discovered Good Eats cuz he loves the science aspect. So anyway we learned on one episode how you should go buy fresh bread and have them slice it in the bakery at just about any big chain store because it has way less preservatives and tastes so much better (which we did today). Ella is at her grandma's and I get this text this afternoon. lol to Ella watching Good Eats at Lisa's house. Happy thursday friends! refueled with this chocolatey bowl after my workout this morning and it was 💯
cacao overnight oats-- mix 1/2 c. rolled oats + 1/2 c. @malkorganics cashew milk + 1 scoop @furtherfood collagen peptides + 1 tbsp. chia seeds + 1 tbsp. @navitasorganics cacao powder + 1/4 mashed banana. mix it all up & store in jar in fridge overnight. I usually eat mine cold but wanted to heat them up this morning so I put them on the stove & added a splash of more cashew milk. topped off with banana + @siggisdairy vanilla + cacao nibs + hemp seeds + @wild_friends peanut cashew super butter
also, I'm wearing my @shoplacle refocus band today 🙃these are used as a reminder to be more mindful of the thoughts we experience every day. when you flip the band, the other side says "chill". i like looking down at it while I'm at work as a reminder to chilll out because sometimes my mind is all over the place 🤷🏻♀️ hope you have a great day!

Healthy fats and fiber FTW 🏆 This thing keeps me full for hours. Also I like to use @betterbeanco uncanny black beans because they're freaking delicious 👌

I made a tray of sweet potato chicken nachos..... who wants in? 😜🙋♀️ YOU GUYS, these were so good and so satisfying. Obvi had to have extra @sietefoods chips on the side too. You know, for extra crunch 💃
Slice sweet potato into thin rounds (about 1/4-inch thick) and spray LIGHTLY with avocado oil and season with whatever you like! Salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, etc. Bake at 425 degrees F for about 40 minutes, flipping towards the end. To make shredded chicken, bring a large pot of water to a boil then add organic uncooked chicken breasts + pinch of salt. Cover for about 20 minutes, or until fully cooked through. Take chicken out & use two forks to shred. I kept it plain but feel free to add seasonings before adding to nachos. Group sweet potato rounds together once they’re done, top with black beans, shredded chicken, cilantro, red chili flakes and cheese (I used goat cheese) and put back in the oven at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Top with diced avo, tomato & lime juice!! 🔥 #rachaelsgoodeats#nachos#goodeats

Recreated these chocolate cherry oats last night and heated them up this morning as detailed below:
in a mason jar combine: ½ c @bobsredmill gf oats, 1 scoop @vitalproteins dark chocolate & blackberry collagen, 1 tbsp @salbachia chia seeds + 1 tsp @sunfood maca, 1 tbsp @philosophielove cacao magic + about 1 c unsweetened almond milk+ handful frozen cherries +/- banana for added sweetness. In the am, transfer to mug, heat in microwave 2-3 min. Adjust milk to your liking. Top with @purely_elizabeth holiday edition dark chocolate strawberry granola-- contains maca and tastes amaaaaazing! 😍
