Society avoiding carbs like the plague while I'm over here like.. more potato cheese please👍😍!
On the break down, this plate is serving up 222g carbs💪, 46g protein and 4g fat (from flax seeds), additionally providing an almost perfect macro profile. It's good for me, for you, the animals, our planet🌏 and anything that breathes.. win-win-win🎊🌱🤘!!
Fazer bolinhas e colocar numa assadeira untada. Assar por 25 a 30 min, em forno médio.
Rendeu 35 bolinhos que congelo e vamos comendo no dia a dia.

Monday night feels 💆🏻 Did you get some "me " time today? Maybe rolling out your mat and doing some breath work. It's always best at the end of the day to wind down.
I never liked practicing on my own, but now Its my fave! I just wrote a lil post on 5 ways that practicing at home can enhance your yoga practice and motivate you to step on your mat even at home!

Reporting to you from the Plantbased Nutrition Heathcare Conference 😊💚💪.
We now know that the food we eat can trigger as much cancer as tobacco (30-40%). This is due to the highly cancer-promoting effects of certain foods in Western diets like meat (especially processed/red meat), dairy (especially cheese), eggs, and seafood (especially smoked fish). But what about the foods we should be maximizing?
Soy has powerful anti-cancer properties, partially due to its anti-angiogenic effects which are as strong as many chemotherapy agents on the market. Many studies have shown marked decreases in breast and prostate cancer rates, recurrence rates, and higher survival rates in people who consume soy daily.
Other foods to maximize? Mushrooms (stems better than tops), dark greens and cruciferous veggies (eat the stems!), polyphenols found in berries and wine (non-alcoholic sources best), tomatoes (cooked best), black and green tea, allium-containing vegetables (onions, garlic, leeks, scallions), turmeric, and other spices like oregano.

Pancakes with black figs and cashew yogurt by @hannah__chia 💗 * 1 cup almond milk
* 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 cup flour (I used 1/2 cup all-purpose and 1/2 cup sprouted whole wheat flour)
* 1 tbsp + 1 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 3 tbsp coconut sugar, or 2 tbsp maple syrup
Whisk wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately, then pour wet ingredients slowly into the dry and stir until combined (do not over-mix! a few lumps should be left). Pour 3 tbsp of the batter on a preheated griddle or pan, and cook for 2 minutes or until several bubbles appear on its surface, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side. Serve warm with maple syrup and cashew yogurt. #bestofvegan

Do what it is your heart is set on💪🏽
When I decided a few years ago I wanted to get "into fitness" and lift consistently with a trainer, a lot of my friends and even family didn't understand my lifestyle change. I was told I looked too bulky, too thick, muscular, masculine, etc. I was told I was selfish for choosing to stay in at night so that I could wake up early and go to the gym, rather then go out partying. I was told that I was self-absorbed because found a new confidence to take pictures of myself, model a bit, document & share my physical progress that I was damn proud of.
When I quit my job in marketing to pursue my own fitness business, I was told I was crazy for leaving a stable income. I was told I was being immature for quitting just because I was unhappy there, & naive for thinking I could start a business with only online resources by myself at 21 years old.
And when I went vegan and decided I wanted to share plant-based living with the world, even my gym friends made fun of me. "It's just a phase you'll miss burgers soon enough"
I was told I would never make a difference and animals would continue to die and become meat, despite my choices and positive influence on my clients and audience.
But with all of those things, I've learned that when I set my heart on something and follow it despite the doubts, fears, and negative words around me, not only am I happy internally- but I succeed. My successes have come like a roller coaster at times with highs and lows and scary pivoting turns. It's forced me to grow, learn, and become mentally stronger. But at the end of the day, whether it's a day of "hell yes I'm killing it" or a day of "wtf sos", I still am able to smile because I am doing what my heart and soul wants.
Don't let outsiders bring you down because they will never feel what you feel in your heart.
So stop questioning yourself, prepare for some challenges & go do whatever your heart is set on. And do it again and again until you get it right.💫
