@Regranned from @doci_healthcare - In the poem “Invictus,” British poet William Ernest Henley (1849–1903) beautifully captured how we should respond to life’s challenges. Invictus is Latin for unconquerable or undefeated. William Henley lived what he wrote. The poem was written while Henley, then just 25 was in the hospital being treated for tuberculosis of the bone, also known as Pott's disease. He had to have his leg amputated to survive. Despite his ailments, he led an active life and a successful career as a poet and literary critic. Henley was truly the captain of his soul. If Invictus was Nelson Mandela’s favorite poem then it’s definitely one of ours too!! 😁😁😁👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 #mondaymotivation#inspiredaily#invictus#makeyourownway#docihealthcare - #regrann
Today I couldn’t wait to wake up and get started with my day. I knew I had planned some sleigh time and I couldn’t wait to meet those sweet dogs. (Oh my! They were so happy to run and would be a bit mad at you if you wanted to slow down 😂).🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕 🐕
But it’s not always like this....
I can't help notice how this feeling of readiness could vary from one day to another. How energy levels could be high or low. How you can have zillion things spinning in your head, or so many mixed feelings... 👉👉 What do you do to go through the days where you don't feel that powerful and ready as you wake up? Do you have any ritual to help and support you?
I personally like to read or say out loud affirmations, for example "I am strong" or “I am a free wild spirit”.
This helps me set my intentions strong and positive for the rest of the day.
Starting the day with a strong and positive intention is so important.
PS: if you'd like to know more about how to set strong intentions and that speak from your heart, read more about my Wholehearted Intention Program. 👉👉Link in BIO or on
After everything you went through until today, a hug is all you need to make you feel better.🙏
Hug something or someone you love that will make you feel better😇 and Share this with your friends👥🙏👇

Via @spiritysol ❤️ “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. We are bringing her forward- birthing the future, deep in that dark tunnel of labor where time stands still and the waves take over and nothing makes sense and there's no escape - breathing, centering, and bearing down is the only way forward. We're reaching out for something to hold on to, for someone to come and save us from the intensity of what we're feeling, only to be reminded that WE are the force. WE hold the power. The waves that we feel rocking us wildly and crashing down upon us come from within. We're staring into the future and she's fierce, and powerful, and beautiful. She is us. We are her. So breathe, mamas. Find your center. Feel your heart. Connect to the strength there. Let's roar a brighter world into existence.” - words and art by @spiritysol ❤️ @lost_nowhere#lostnowhere
Happiness is a beautiful and powerful thing 🖤😌
So far today I have done a 35 minute workout, 30 minute physical therapy appointment, grocery shop, play fetch outside with Molly and now relax and stretch! 🖤
But my happiness now has given me a sense of peace, a sense of relaxation and taking one day at a time. I used to consistently be thinking about the future and it gave me major anxiety! 😶😭 .living for todays precious moments 🌈 are you?
“To me this image is really powerful. Most of us live like the first person, governed by fear of the past and the future, and we have unconsciously memorised feelings and behaviours in our body and mind that have created limiting beliefs of ourselves. But the thing is we have the potential to let go and make friends with our limitless self, choosing love over fear. By understanding that the subjective mind has an effect on the objective world, means we can create and manifest any reality that we can dream. Just a little thought for your Sunday.” -@brookiebrash 👁🧞♀️✨ artwork by @ouvra ❤️❤️❤️ @lost_nowhere#lostnowhere
