The beauty in a galette is that they don’t have to be beautiful to be delicious. In fact, the more rustic they look, the fancier the appear. This imperfect crust method is great for gluten free baking because it’s so forgiving in its looks and versatile in the fillings. You could go with a sweet “dessert” galette and fill it with low-carb fruits, or even a sweetened cream cheese filling, but today I want to share a cheese filled savory variety that will make you think you’re eating a the real deal….but without all of those pesky carbs!
1 cup almond flour
1 large egg
3 tablespoons mozzarella liquid
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons pesto
3-4 leaves fresh basil
½ ounce Mozzarella pearls*
3-4 cherry tomatoes
This makes a total of 4 single-servings of Tomato Basil Mozzarella Galette. Each serving comes out to be 323.67 Calories, 24.01 g Fat, 7.87 g Net Carbs, and 14.46 g Protein.
Part 1 of my Amazon Haul. Pyure is an add on and like $6 each. I like how it is 2:1 to sugar and not all sugar alcohols (kinder to my GI tract that has been more angry of late); it is easier to store in my tiny kitchen. The coconut oil is refined and a 1 gallon jug for $18. I finally broke down and bought a kitchen scale. Mainly to measure coffee beans for my aeropress! Yes I am becoming that lady! #ketofam#ketotribe#ketolove#hflclife#ketolife#kcko
#FBF This is hard to post because this was 5 years ago and a 50 pound difference. I was super into Crossfit and then I did a bodybuilding comp which led me to look at food in a negative way and it’s all been down hill from there. I know with keto I will find this girl again.
Here’s another super simple, extremely delicious keto lunch or dinner that you can do! It takes a total of about 10 minutes to prep everything, but the rest of the time you just have to wait for the oven to be done. It doesn’t get much easier than this.
6 large beef hot dogs
12 slices bacon
2 ounces cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
This makes a total of 6 Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs. Each comes out to be 283 Calories, 19.26g Fats, 2.08g Net Carbs, and 13.63g Protein.
I 💙 WATER!! Drinking water has never been hard for me, but my large hydro flask makes it even easier. It’s more important to drink water in ketosis because your body has less water available to deal with dehydration.
When you are storing carbs, they are stored with a large amount of water. So if your body becomes dehydrated, it can use the carb and claim the water that comes with it to restore some hydration.
If you remove all the carbs by being in ketosis, the body does not have these extra stores of water. So when the body becomes dehydrated there isn't much it can do.
The only solution is to drink more water more frequently to avoid (even minor) dehydration in the first place. 💧💧💧

1st meal of the day at 2pm! My goal of not cheating while on vacation was success but I sure did miss a home cooked meal even if it is scrambled cheese eggs!

This mug reminds me of a sandwich that a popular fast food chain used to make when I was younger. It had roast beef, green chiles, and cheese. I thought it would be fun to try layering all the best parts and enjoy it without the bread.

1 tablespoon sour cream
1.5 tablespoons diced green chiles
1.5 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded
Optional: smoked paprika for garnish
This makes a total of 1 servings of Monterey Mug Melt. Each serving comes out to be 268 Calories, 17.99g Fats, 3.83g Net Carbs, and 22.4g Protein.

The filling on the inside is just perfect and really comes together with all of the flavors. It’s almost a chicken vegetable medley with cheese and sour cream holding everything together. If your macros can fit, I certainly advise to add bacon as it’s a perfect addition to this. Aside from adding extra sour cream, you could do a light drizzle of ranch on top just to make the flavors pop that much more!
2 large (246 g) zucchini
2 tablespoons butter
3 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup broccoli
6 ounces shredded rotisserie chicken
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 stalk green onion
Salt and pepper to taste
This makes a total of 2 servings of Broccoli Chicken Zucchini Boats. Each serving comes out to be 492.5 Calories, 32.28g Fats, 10.74g Net Carbs, and 39.23g Protein.

These cheesy quiche stuffed peppers are an easy brunch or an even easier dinner. A lightly seasoned egg filling is made fluffy with the mixture of full fat ricotta, mozzarella, and the bite of shredded Parmesan. Just a few leaves of fresh spinach are needed to give a little green boost to these beautifully colored peppers! The steps are so simple that you can throw this together and have it in the oven in minutes. Simply blend the filling and pour it into the prepared peppers, cover with foil, and bake. They are great to reheat the next day too.⠀ ⠀
2 medium bell peppers, sliced in half and seeds removed⠀
4 large eggs⠀
½ cup ricotta cheese⠀
½ cup shredded mozzarella⠀
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese⠀
1 teaspoon garlic powder⠀
¼ teaspoon dried parsley⠀
¼ cup baby spinach leaves⠀
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, to garnish⠀ ⠀

Pigs in a Blanket were a staple in my household when I was growing up. If we held any get togethers for soccer games, we’d always have Pigs in a Blanket to serve to our guests. There’s not too much I remember from when I was a kid, but these appetizers are definitely one memory I have.

This is a combination of some of my favorite flavors – coconut, peanut butter, lime and cilantro. It comes together to make a creamy and slightly thick base that’s filled with delicious fresh broccoli and shrimp. We first get a hint of coconut and lime when we taste the curry. Slowly, the peanut flavor brushes over our taste buds as we chew. Each and every bite will be unique, some getting broccoli and shrimp in one bite and getting a bit of garlic and cilantro in another.
2 tablespoons green curry paste
1 cup vegetable stock
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, from a carton
6 ounces pre-cooked shrimp
5 ounces broccoli florets
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
Juice of ½ lime
1 medium green onion
1 teaspoon crushed roasted garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon fish sauce
½ teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon xanthan gum
½ cup sour cream
This makes 2 servings of Thai Peanut Shrimp Curry. Each serving comes out to be 465.5 Calories, 32.8g Fats, 13.19g Net Carbs, and 26.66g Protein.
