Without a doubt, my favourite way to explore a new country is on horseback. We can get to places we couldn’t otherwise reach, where no tourists go. I love the natural world and when on a horse feel even more so a part of it. Sometimes we ride through villages where nobody has ever really seen a horse before, and I love to see people react with excitement and curiosity.
What’s your favourite way to explore a new place?
So many good things on the #FTRBlist this weekend so here’s an abridged version: the first snow of the season, Bette Midler in Hello, Dolly!, catching up with good friends, giant Christmas trees, and sleeping in that clock tower with a view over this fantastic city..... Thank you, New York, see you next time.....
The Pantheon was magical with the sun shining through the round window at the centre of the dome. Jerome wanted to make it into a large scale sundial. The Temple of Gods so far tops the list of our favourite buildings in Rome #pantheon#romanarchitecture#wheninrome#vivaitalia

Plotting out my 2018 travels the old fashioned way: close my eyes and point on a map 🙈 Not just any map though - my awesome new scratch map from @northerntravelgear .
I’ve already got Tanzania, Rwanda, Israel, Jordan, Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany on the list. .
Where else would you like to see me go?
It snowed today in London for the first time in years. Delays and cancellations sprung up everywhere (despite it being too warm for the snow to settle on the roads). Nothing has changed.
Here’s a pic of a cute fashionista bundled up against a blizzard in Turkestan.
Wrapping up the Iceland series with a photo that sums all the fun we had. 😅The blue lagoon is located 40 minutes away from the airport, so it’s better to make it either your first or your last stop. Make sure to pre-book your tickets online. The perfect timing would be around sunset of course. 🌅
TBH, the blue lagoon felt a little bit touristy compared to all the untouched sceneries that WOW-ed us during our stay. But, it’s on everyone's bucket list and sure not to be missed. ✅
Until we meet again Iceland. Video coming soon 🎥
