London, you’re doing amazing sweetie

I hadn’t had a real day of snow in over 4 years, needless to say I didn’t have any warm waterproof clothes. Still managed to go to the River Lea - almost fell 10 times on my way - to take pictures and watch the kids and dogs play in the snow.
Came back home with wet feet, a red nose and probably a dormant cold, but feeling really happy.
Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday 🖤❄️ #SnowyLondon
...Christmas trees are popping up all over London. Everywhere I go there’s a fir decked with lights and baubles. Some are seasonal staples, others new additions to the London Christmas scene. In wandering, I have come across a lot of Christmas trees in London - and this is one of them.
🎶I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow ...🎶
One of the biggest Christmas trees in London shines beautifully above the cobbled streets of the stunning 19th-century Covent Garden Piazza.
A colossal 30,000 lights, which weigh up to 3 tonnes, are used to decorate the tree which is grown at Woods Farm, a 40,000 acre family-run business in Solihull in the West Midlands.
The Queen also got her Christmas Tree from Woods Farm last year...
... Christmas in London...
❄❄ So it snowed today in England!!❄❄
I shot this picture a couple of years ago. I have been back to Liberty's a couple of times in recent weeks to try to reshoot this composition and every time there are cars parked out the front so I have given this a fresh edit. The front looks the same this year anyway...the Xmas trees are still there...always looks lovely and super festive at Christmas 🎄🎄
