The bottles are the only part of the process not fulfilled in our very own distillery. Every glass bottle takes about four minutes to produce and each one is a tiny bit different, making all Fortaleza bottles unique.

Love these black sparkly beads. They look like glitter without the mess.

G&T at the Qantas Lounge in Melbourne. Another opportunity to try the Four Pillars Aussie Gin and I really like it! It’s refreshing and so easy to drink. Highly recommended - though it’s fairly pricey.

Earnest Hemingway drinks to “make other people more interesting”, and there is a Hemingway Daiquiri named after him 💞. Can I have a daiquiri variation named after me, cus I drink to make myself more interesting 🤪. .
All jokes aside, here is my version of daiquiri with prickly pear syrup and a touch of rum fire (thanks, @barfaith )!
1.75 oz Plantation 3 Star @plantation.rum
0.25 oz rum fire
0.75 oz lime juice
0.75 oz prickly pear syrup
Dashes of Angostura bitters @angosturahouse
Garnish: a slice of prickly pear
I did the shaking method here. During its heyday, this was actually prepared in blender which calls for different ratios. .
Manhattan - one of the most iconic cocktails ever - finally featured in our feed for the very first time. ⠀
A cocktail doesn't get more simple and yet refined at the same time. If you don't count the bitters, this is a two ingredients only cocktail, made with whiskey and sweet vermouth. The dashes of bitters are essential though and the cocktail would not be the same without them.⠀
2,5 oz whiskey (rye or bourbon)⠀
0,75 oz sweet vermouth⠀
2 dashes Angostura bitters⠀
Stir with ice, strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a single maraschino cherry.⠀
We like to stir this classic for a rather long time, say at least a minute. Two things will then happen; the cocktail gets freezing cold which we think is important, and it gets slightly more diluted. It's a matter of taste how diluted you want to go, but considering the high ABV of this cocktail, adding water from the melting ice we think opens it up, making it taste more in the end.⠀
There are also so many variations of the Manhattan. Actually the next cocktail we will post is a Manhattan riff, so stay tuned if you like these boozy type of brown cocktails.⠀
How often do you enjoy a Manhattan, and what proportions do you use?⠀
The stylings of a perfect winter evening - boozy cocktail served by cozy candlelight. This is the Baker Street from @barhommage in Stockholm: Jamaican and Venezuelan rums, rye whiskey, Bordeaux, tonka bean, orange liqueur and walnut bitters. #TBT
