Add whatever veges you have on hand and gently cook. Cook noodles separately and once cooked, add to fry pan and mix the chicken & veg mixture through. GET INTO YOUR FITNESS RHYTHM
I’m just getting into my fitness rhythm. By that I mean I’m in a good routine where I feel healthy not just in my body but my mind too. My daily schedule is usually the same. I’m up at 5.15 on days when I am running or going to the gym early. I walk the dogs for 20 mins then go and do my workout. Seen as I also have a full time job in an office if I don’t go in the morning sometimes life takes over and other things get in the way. The marathon training for me has been using @nikerunning app. I like this as it alters your runs weekly with your progress. I run 4 times a week and try to do 1 Bootcamp with my girlies and 1-2 weight sessions. I like to listen to podcasts and the so called ‘self help’ material on you tube. This really helps maintain a healthy mind and attitude. As far as my diet is concerned I have always had bloating, sinus issues and experiences lethargic moods. After keeping a food diary for over a year I made the decision to eat less meat and dairy by having a pescatarian diet. I have then been gradually becoming more plant based and I must say I have seen a HUGE difference. I was the girl who always had a view on this but as I have been more open to the idea and tried it out it has definitely had a positive effect on my body. Inside and out. I don’t have that cloudy fuzzy head, or the bloat. My periods aren’t as bad. My skin has been glowing. It’s an all round positive one. My sleep is a lot better too. I am not struggling to get up in the morning like I used to. It’s funny how the so called ‘little changes’ make us feel 10x better sometimes. Happy Monday peeps! Up until today the heaviest single I’ve ever squatted was 200kg. Today I took that weight and hit it for 3 and left something in the tank! Always good when your maxes become opening weights!

I don’t know about you but I’m ready to discard the bullshit stories that tell us we have to be something that we are not. I am eyeball deep in this right now. It feels like an existential awakening and I’m riding the wave of ALL of the feelz that come with it! 🎢
It’s humbling to recognize and admit to myself that I have fallen back into some old perfectionist patterns that I thought I was way done with. Hello, shame. 👋 However, the blessing in this is that 1️⃣ I’m aware and more conscious than ever of what I need to do to heal these unhealthy patterns 2️⃣ I have support from some amazing friends, family, and a man who “sees” me, unconditionally loves me, and is here for me no matter how crazy 🤪 I feel at times and 3️⃣ the more I talk about it, the more other women tell me that they struggle with similar perfectionist patterns and feelings too. It’s ironic how we’re all trying so hard to look like we have our shit together when really behind the scenes I don’t think there is one of us that actually does. I’m going to work up the courage to make a video talking about my current aha’s and healing plan publicly. It feels scary to talk about struggles real time, AND at the same time it feels right because I think it’s time for a lot of us to give ourselves permission to let go of the charade and discard what we are not so that we can celebrate WHO WE ARE. ✨
Its right in the middle of wedding season, and while most of my weddings at the moment are spent assisting other awesome photographers, i did get to take photos of Becca & Toms gorgeous day solo. It is such a joy and an honour to have someone trust you to capture their big day!! And the scenery there was pretty epic!!
