Lake George, NY 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is still one of my favorite trips. To start the first time I stayed, I was in a little comfy cabin right on the water. Lake George provided you with solitary days of venturing into the forests and camping on grand mountain summits, morning hikes on well-maintained trails and afternoons spent splashing in the water and sunbathing on the beach.
The first photo is at sunrise, and is not enhanced. The sunrise was so beautiful. Also I have never seen a body of water so clean. Aside from the ocean in FL, this lake was Crystal clear and the water was very warn. I respect the hard work that is put in to keep this lake invasive species, algea, and garbage free.
The Adirondack mountains provide an amazing back drop to any photo. I loved hiking them as well. I went up to Prospect Mountain to get a better view.(photo opportunity) and I was not disappointed. Prospect Mountain was 10$ per car. And you can park in the lower lot and hike, or take a shuttle to the top. Many people brought lunch and stayed for the day.
Lake George has many water sports available. I enjoyed boating and jet skiing. Renting can go anywhere from 150$ to 1000$. If you have a well maintained watercraft I suggest bringing it. It only cost 10$ a day to launch off of Million Dollar beach.
Million Dollar beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love this beach! It was pet, and kid friendly. There was also a line that divided the two. It's free! I liked that there were locker rooms right off the beach and it's off the main strip. Easy access, and plenty of parking. I do suggest going early though.
PRO TIP: pack a cooler, pack beach supplies, pack extra clothes, get there early.
