Chia Seed Portion:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4 tbsp. Chia seeds⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 Cup if Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
A couple of drops of stevia
1 scoop @furtherfood collagen⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Let sit in fridge for an hour to thicken⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unsweetened Açaí Portion:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 packet of @amazonplanet unsweetened Açaí
1/2 Cup frozen blueberries
1 serving Vanilla Protein
Cinnamon to taste
1 tbsp. Almond Butter⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Blend until smooth⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
Chinese roasted duck carcass (with plenty of meat left on) with garlic, a butt tonne of ginger and turmeric all packed in the slow cooker - can’t wait to taste the end product!!!

#facetofacefriday ... I started doing these types of posts 3 weeks ago and I’m having a lot of fun with them. I’ve been going through old photos and I’m just in shock. I really had no idea how heavy I had gotten. I mean, I knew I was overweight, but I had no idea how much. I was telling Matt tonight that it’s so hard to understand how I was not focused on my health for so long considering how my mindset is now. It’s like I don’t even know the person on the left. Does that make sense?
Today I went shopping for a few new clothes since we leave for the #dominicanrepublic in one week and I have zero summer clothes that fit, but I have a hard time justifying buying new clothes right now since I still have weight to lose. While I was shopping I kept grabbing bigger sizes because my brain hasn’t caught up with my weight loss. It was the weirdest thing ... I’ve read about others who have experienced the same thing. My sister kept telling me “that’s too big” “you need a smaller size” and I just couldn’t register it all; it was an overwhelming feeling, and exciting all at the same time.
My only hope in posting these photos is to encourage others if they need it. I NEVER thought I would be where I’m at today. I’ve struggled with #weight and #bodyimage since my sophomore year in college. It’s never too late to start! And if I can do it, so can you. Sounds so cliche, but it’s true. ❤️

Dinner was one pound of venison burgers with smoked mozzarella and bacon. And a delicious sauce I made from spicy mayo and sugar free BBQ. The glass is raw milk, goat Kefir and heavy cream. Everyone keeps asking me how my digestion is - it's amazing. Even better since adding in raw and fermented dairy. When I used to eat lots of vegetables and grains my digestion was terrible. How to keep your guacamole green and gorgeous! (And nope, it’s not lime juice or the pit put on top) It’s a trick I always used when catering events, and still use it at home since it makes guacamole taste even better, if that’s possible.
