In my observations the osprey is one successful hunter. They catch fish all day and return it back to the nest every 15 min or so. Looking forward to spring for the action to begin. Have a freaking awesome weekend!
Hello friends 😊
With this post of a sea lion I would like to proudly announce that my new website is published. The idea is that the website should work as my portfolio but also as a webshop for my art. So, please, have a visit, share it with your friends and if you have any feedback it would be highly appreciated ❤ www.johanneskarlsson.com or link in bio!
Fancy seeing this adorable animal? 🐨
They are found all around Australia, and this was one lucky moment! I had heard about the Kenneth River Koala walk and it was a spot to visit along the Great Ocean Road. As I got there, I was surprised with the number of visitors and after walking for quite a while admiring the colourful birds, I'd noticed there were none around...Perhaps all asleep far atop the eucalyptus trees?! Slightly defeated, and looking hope, I turned around and noticed someone was signalling me. It was a fellow traveller I'd just met a few minutes before who was on the same quest. She had found a quiet spot. Quietly beckoning so no-one else saw, I followed her to a spot, far away from the swarm of tourists and she whispered and pointed to a large tree nestled within a caravan park. I looked up - and there he was!! I cannot describe the feeling at this moment - seeing a koala in the wild! What an incredible moment!
It's amazing when you can watch nature unfold right in front of you undisturbed & raw, it can be magical. Grateful this red fox vixen let us see into her world & spend time observing her family, at first we thought she only had 3 kits but after some time we learned she had six.
Here's a brief glimpse into what we were lucky to witness....
