I shared another portrait of this man a couple of weeks ago, but the few I shot of him are amongst my favorites from Cuba. His face was one of such incredible depth. I'm always drawn to people's facial expressions, and to details that speak to their experiences, like hands.
Actual towers of books at the British Library today. 📚
I love this place - I worked from here for a few months when I first moved to London, and today I took my 3-year-old to check out the permanent exhibition they have there. We saw Gutenberg bibles, Jane Austen manuscripts, the Lindisfarne Gospels, and a host of other treasures.
Needless to say, my daughter was mainly interested in where her next babyccino was coming from, and exactly how many cupcakes we'd be buying on the way home. 😂
A postcard from Amsterdam for you! 🇳🇱
There's something special about these gingerbread houses. Somehow they make the city look like if it was a dream and they charge your inner batteries with all its beauty.
Amsterdam, you have my heart ♥️
