Health fact: puppy time cures a lot of ailments and increases your life expectancy....I'm sure I read that somewhere. Totally not made up 🤔
Best part of this picture is the other pup in the background looking ever so longingly at Dallas 🤣
What is MTHFR????
Some individuals have the #MTHFR gene mutation that can affect how your body metabolizes #folate and #folicacid (pretty important stuff!) It's estimated that 40-60% of Americans have this.
Did you know XFactor Plus is one of the only fully #methylated#multivitamins out there??
*MANY people have no idea they have the mutation or have ever even heard of it. *For the est. 60 million people affected by this gene mutation, a curse is exactly what it can feel like sometimes IF you don't take the proper proactive steps. *Unfortunately, without taking proper proactive measures, those with a MTHFR mutation are directly predisposed to many serious #health problems!
If you have this condition, you NEED a methylated vitamin #supplement - one that is already converted because your body can’t do it. Makes sense right?
X factor Plus is a non-synthetic multivitamin and #antioxidant supplement with C, D, E & B vitamins, including methylated folate and methylated B12, and New Zealand black currant.
It also contains ALOE, which vastly improves absorption, so you know your body is properly absorbing all it should! 💫 #themoreyouknow#nwadrinkspinkdotcom
The FIV test is not conclusive in kittens until 6 months of age because it does not actually test for the virus--it tests for the antibody, and young kittens often carry maternal antibodies without carrying the actual virus. Put simply: when a mother cat has a virus (or is vaccinated for a virus), her body will build up resistance in the form of antibodies, which can be consumed through breastmilk. Consequently, a negative result is accurate, but a positive result is most often false. About 25% of kittens with FIV+ mothers will carry the antibody, but far fewer will actually develop the virus as mother-to-kitten transmission is rare. Here you can see that Blossom tested positive for the antibody, but the others in her litter did not, reflecting the 25% likelihood of antibody transmission. So what does this mean for rescuers? It means we should still test kittens pre-adoption, with the awareness that a negative result is true, and that a positive result simply means a conversation with adopters and a requirement to retest at 6 months, when a true result can be determined. #themoreyouknow#kittenrescue#fiv
