Si può dire che Andre @andrea_marzi_ abbia fatto i compiti davvero bene.
72 kg nelle foto a sx ed 80 circa nelle foto a dx in sole 6 settimane. C'è poco da dire, le foto parlano da sole, il risultato è stato a dir poco spettacolare. A sx nelle foto estive Andre partiva da una condizione piuttosto tirata ma con volumi praticamente assenti, io ho iniziato a seguirlo quasi due mesi fa in cui i suoi volumi erano solo leggermente migliorati rispetto alla foto estiva ma allo stesso tempo la qualità della pelle era peggiorata e lui era in generale più appannato.
In sole sei settimane impostando una ipercalorica fatta con criterio ed un allenamento adeguato allo stile di vita lavorativo di Andre, abbiamo ottenuti un risultato a dir poco strepitoso.
Non si tratta chiaramente di 8 kg di muscoli, questo in un natural sarebbe impossibile in tempi tanto brevi: una piccola parte del peso è dovuta a nuova massa magra perchè Andre non si era mai allenato a certe intensità e soprattutto con delle kcal adeguate, quindi ha risposto all'allenamento praticamente come un neofita. Una grossa parte del peso è dovuta al glicogeno muscolare che ha richiamato una buona quantità di acqua all'interno del muscolo stesso, conferendo un ottimo look estetico: cosa del tutto positiva, sintomo del fatto che le "kcal sono andate dove dovevano" cioè sono state ben utilizzate come carburante per l'allenamento e per la sintesi di nuovo glicogeno muscolare che ha richiamato acqua nei punti giusti. Una piccola parte del peso sarà sicuramente dovuta ad adipe che tuttavia non si nota nemmeno grazie al maggior volume muscolare che rende la pelle più tesa..sembra addirittura più tirato rispetto alla condizione estiva nella quale mangiava mooooooolto meno rispetto ad ora.
In definitiva: metabolismo nettamente migliorato, muscoli riempiti e qualità generale nettamente migliorata in tempi praticamente irrilevanti per quanto concerne questo mondo, dove i cambiamenti sono sempre minimi e richiedono tantissimo tempo.

I came across some of my "before and after" progress pics the other day, and found it incredibly motivating. So, in the spirit of being honest and forthcoming about my fitness journey here, I decided to take an updated "progress" pic to show you where I'm at today.
Clearly .. I'm a LITTLE softer than I was in October of 2016. That's okay. I feel like I've finally found my motivation again, and I'm excited to get back to taking a little bit better care of myself. Lord knows I love to go out to eat and have drinks .. and to be honest, I always will. I won't deprive myself of those things. On the flip side, I do also love feeling good and feeling strong when I make healthy choices too. It's all about that balance, and that's what I'm aiming to get back to. 😁

I have to tell you a little story...in honor of this #transformationtuesday ❤️

One client in particular- and now a very good friend;)...
Told me JUST last week- that she went to the doctor (normally to face a list of health concerns // how to combat them)😔
And came out INSTEAD...being asked what on earth she was doing- because she was down in weight and healthier overall BECAUSE of that. She was told that she was helping herself from these long lived health concerns... INSTEAD of just letting them fester.
This was a result of HER hard work. But had we never connected- none of this would’ve ever happened.
THIS is just another thing that gets me going in the morning...when 6am feels real early.😅

Can you believe that it’s the second week of 2018?! How are you doing with your goals so far? Are you still high on motivation, or has it begun to fizzle out? Have you started the year off confidently, striving to crush your goals, or do you already feel defeated?
Whether last week went exactly as planned or not, I want you to know that you’ve still got this! That motivation you felt on on January 1st, might have started to fade, but who’s 100% motivated 24/7 anyway? The truth is, you can’t rely solely on motivation. It’s just not realistic. 🙅🏾♀️Motivation can appear just as quickly as it vanishes, but discipline on the other hand, is much more dependable. (Shoutout to @brendantlund for sharing this thought #puregold)
One thing that’s helped me to remain disciplined has been ACCOUNTABILITY! After a long day at work, I often feel exhausted, and lack the motivation to do anything. Thankfully, I’ve got some amazing people and resources in my life that hold me accountable. And it’s this accountability that’s kept me on track thus far despite my feelings.
Whether it’s your family, friends, gym buddies, coach, Instagram community, Facebook group etc., I would highly recommend that you surround yourself with people who will hold you accountable! Give them permission to call you out when you need it and use them for support as you learn to become self-disciplined.
I’ll be honest, though I love working out, the day I filmed this clip I didn’t want to go to the gym. But I knew that if I didn’t go, I’d only be that much further from accomplishing my goals. And you know what? Because I decided to show up, I was able to make progress, adding an additional plate in less than 2 weeks! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Moral of my little rant, always show up even when you don’t feel like it because discipline trumps motivation everyday! #liveundone
