‘Healthy’ foods low in calories!
These foods are generally pretty good for your health - as in they contain low amounts of bad fats, sodium, cholesterol and other harmful things that may negatively impact your health.
The tuna, tofu, cottage cheese and Greek yoghurt can be higher in calories if you’re consuming LOTS so make sure you’re eating moderate amounts of them as they are also high in protein and other food stuff 💪
With vegetables, I generally recommend eating as much as your heart desires to keep you full and healthy 👍🏼 These foods are generally good for fat loss and weight loss as they will keep you full on lower calories and will give you good macros and nutrients. People tend to think that losing weight means eating less but in truth it’s just less calories, so if you’re simply swapping out high-calorie foods for low-calorie foods then you’ll naturally be in a calorie deficit! Who said you had to starve yourself to lose weight?

Happy Monday! I started this morning off with a great @purebarreprinceton workout, and now I'm refueling with this spinach, tomato, red onion, feta, and caper open-faced omelet with avocado toast topped with some extra tomato slices on the side.
Dinner tonight is a chicken and broccoli stir fry with quinoa and mixed veggies. Super easy and super delicious 👌

People who don’t like pasta are the reason I have trust issues 🙈 Pasta and carbs aren’t terrible y’all! There’s so many different healthy alternatives out there and lately I’ve been loving brown rice pasta 🙌🏼 This vegetarian pasta dish is super easy, delicious, and perfect for a meal prepped dinner 👏🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Ingredients:
•@jovialfoods brown rice pasta
•4 handfuls of spinach
•can of diced tomatoes
•package of mushrooms •1/2 yellow onion
•vegetable stock •1/4 cup Parmesan cheese ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
How to make:
•in a large pot over medium heat, pour olive oil and place in chopped mushrooms + onions for 5 minutes
•add garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
•bring to high heat, add tomatoes + stock, and bring to a boil
•add pasta, stir, bring to low/medium heat and cover for 7-11 mins or until pasta is cooked
•add spinach and parm until combined

Tonight’s dinner is baked wild salmon seasoned with @kouzinifoods olive oil, lemon and @primalpalate seafood seasoning with roasted asparagus, tomato topped with provolone, grated parm and gluten free breadcrumbs and lemon Parmesan cauliflower with toasted pine nuts.
