BODY CONFIDENCE. ‼️READ‼️ Above is a swimsuit transformation. The evolution of my willingness to strip down and show my body to the world near various bodies of water; a daunting task for any female or male growing up. However, it saddens me to think I didn’t think I was worthy enough to show my body in the first picture. In the second picture, I am trying on my first ever bikini after starting my weight loss journey for about 6-9 months (I can’t quite remember). I was so excited, I had worked so hard and was ready to take that next step and go for a bikini. I ended up wearing it probably 3 times. I still wasn’t confident, because I was still battling with a negative mindset and obsession over how my body needed to look, not how I wanted to feel. In the last picture, I am happy, healthy, I train to feel good and to build strength/endurance/athleticism. I see training as a challenge not a task. A physical outlet to improve my mentality and keep healthy. I eat to fuel my training and to feel good in life. I still indulge and enjoy my food (trust me) but I know how too much of it makes me feel and I know when to stop. This has been a long process with many a trial and error, but I did do it, which definitely means that you can too. It’s like I tell all of my clients, all you need to do is START and you’re already on the road to progress. I’m not saying your fitness journey or lifestyle change should be centred around looking great in a bikini, because I could look great but feel terrible. I’m saying, make a change because you want to FEEL BETTER FOREVER, not for 6 weeks, not for 2 Years but for LIFE.

Yoga Challenge January 22nd to 28th
I teamed up with three fantastic Yoga Teachers to bring you a monthly seven days challenge where we will be sharing with you the different ways to perform the same asana.
As Yoga practitioners, before choosing the Yoga style that suits us best, we often tried many different disciplines. And while doing so, we might have experienced doubts about an asana alignment.
Why that pose in the Ashtanga Vinyasa class, is different than in the Hatha yoga class?
Which alignment is the correct one?
It can be confusing, doesn’t it?!
First of all, there is no “ONE AND ONLY ALIGNMENT.” BUT, there are different disciplines with different alignments.
Each Yoga Style, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Iyengar, Aerial Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Tripsichore Yoga, Kundalini, Yin yoga…, has its own identity.
There is not a single, unifying, objective truth, but merely Different Ways Of Yoga.

Came down to Maryland to visit my brother & sister in law (@fitpositively) because they just had a lil 👶🏻. Anyways, they have such an awesome “at home gym” set up in the basement!!! I brought my @crushfit yolo and did what I could with minimal equipment. Was feeling like a bug in a rug today but after this workout I feel sooo much better. It’s so nice getting away from my routine once in a while ( although it can be uncomfortable) I’m really happy I came!!!!

Eu era mtooo magrinha, sempre fui desde criança! Minha briga com a balança sempre foi para ver o ponteiro subir e nunca abaixar.
Hoje me perguntam se eu gosto de treinar e fazer dieta....E eu respondo, eu amo! Isso para mim é estilo de vida , é um objetivo alcançado .
Foi uma escolha feita desde pequena e que hoje faz parte do meu estilo de vida. Eu trabalho, estudo, treino, e faço dieta! E sempre será assim
Trace uma meta, corra atrás dos seus objetivos, seja eles quais forem! Foque naquilo que você quer e vá em frente! Se alguém te falar que é impossível, prove para você mesmo que não é!
